This is a special service provided by the moving companies to their customers in which they allow them to keep their belongings in their warehouse for any amount of time they want. This is chargeable in the amount of the total moving cost. The more space your goods will take in the warehouse, the higher will be the moving cost.
Though it is an optional service, but it is always a better option in case of long-distance moves to ensure the safety of goods while in transit. It allows you to demand compensation in case your goods get damaged or misplaced. The insurance is equal to 3% of the total declared value of your goods.
